Mo + David Wedding | Farm Fresh Florals

David and Moniqua are the sweetest couple. Here is their proposal story written by Mo. David and I have known each other since we were about ten years old. We were good friends throughout high school, where David liked to utilize my smarts and cheated off my chemistry tests. We hadn't spoken to each other for years until a few years ago our mutual friend brought David to a pub. Two shots of fireball later, and I won him over.

Fast forward a few years, and David was ready to hop down on one knee.

We flew out to Vancouver Island to visit with my brother and my sister-in-law. All three of them were very invested in planning the perfect moment for us. They decided to do it in a place that has always been my sanctuary. My brother's backyard consists of over 20 acres of land, with a beautiful creak running through it and old train tracks going over a bridge, and tress surrounding everywhere. We went for our usual walk around the creek when my brother suggested David and I should walk forward so he could take a picture of us together. We began walking forward when my brother said "ok, turn around" as we did David got down on one knee on the train tracks and pulled out the ring. His legs shaking, he asked me if I would marry him; after I laughed and spoke a few curses I said yes and couldn't pry myself off of him.
